So last night I thought about going to the grocery store and then I looked outside.... And well we all know that didn't happen lol... So we decided to get delivery. I am so over Chinese and Big city Grill we eat that all the time. I got on urban spoon and looked up broadripple deliveries and I found Los Chiqutas Poblano... It's an Asian fusion taqueria... SO GOOD!!!!! We tried the shrimp and tilapia... We also had some of there sweet potato fries they were amazing as well... I am so glad we found this place. It is located where the old boogie burger was on Westfield... So for all the ladies out there that don't feel like slavin over a stove give them a call!!!!!! You won't regret it... www.urbanspoon.com
3/4/2013 LAS VEGAS!!!!
So Christie and I just got back from the R4 Convention that Remax hosted in Las Vegas!!! We are both pooped beyone belief, but we learned so much awesome info. We saw Dr. Condolezza Rice speak along with our companies owner Dave Liniger. It was a great confrence.. Thanks Remax Ok here is the "good stuff" from the trip!!! The MGM was nicely renovated, but the staff sucked!!! They were rude and unhelpful. Caesars Palace has the best buffet in the world!!! WE loved the Wheel of Fortune game we could have sat there the whole 6 days if we had more money lol... We walked through alot of the hotels, but we have to say the coolest was the Venetian... Anyways we will be going back to the Remax convention every year here on out!!!

2/17/2013 Lattitude 39

We went out for a birthday party last night to the new "Adult Disneyworld" Lattitude 39. It opened in December and you can tell they are still working out the kinks as far as staffing goes, but overall it seemed like it is going to be a great addition to Indianapolis's North side. Lattitude 39 moved into the old movie theater on 82nd street. This place has it all from bowling, to private party rooms, tv's galore, and a eat in movie theater. The theater doesn't open until March, but they will be showing New Releases and have a pretty good menu as well for dinner. You might want to wait a couple of months until the hype dies down, because this place was packed, but we had a great time. It's a good place for the family or for adult date night. Kids have to be out of the building by 10pm!!!

1/28/2013 What is a Hoosier?

In other parts of the country people might call us Hoosiers as a derogatory name, but people from Indiana embrace the Hoosier name. A Hoosier refers to the cotton-stowers, both black and white, who move cotton bales from docks to the holds of ships, forcing the bales in tightly by means of jackscrews.

The word Hoosier has been used since at least the 1830's, it became popular in Indiana when John Finley of Richmond, Indiana wrote a poem called, "The Hoosier Nest" which was published in 1833 and was used as the Carriers Address of the Indianapolis Journal.

The word Hoosier was also referenced in Clint Eastwoods movie "The outlaw Josey Wales. A native to the "Hoosier" state Kurt Vonnegut also referenced it in his book the Cat's Cradle. Serial killer Carl Panzaram's last words were" Hurry it up, you hoosier bastard! I could kill 10 men while you're fooling around. These implications that "hoosier" may have been used as an insult in other parts of the country.

Even though for many years people would use "Hoosier" as a insult in contrast for "white-trash" or hillbilly. Today I say I am a Hoosier with pride.
